The Sammy Baugh Golf Course and Pro Shop are located on the campus of Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas. We rank in the top 20 of 9 hole golf courses in Texas! We have 9 holes with a driving range, practice putting green, and a short game practice area!
The Men’s Golf Association begins to play in April and continues through September, playing weekly on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. WTC Golf teams practice daily. Snyder High School’s golf teams practice 2-3 days per week in the fall and spring, and Snyder Jr. High and Ira High Schools practice 2-3 days per week in the spring.
We typically host the following annual tournaments:
- West Texas Jr. Golf Association Tournament
- Snyder High School District Match
- Slingin’ Sammy Baugh Tournament
Driving range and practice greens are available.
Restrooms are located on the course and in the Pro Shop.
Drinks and snacks are available in the Pro Shop. No alcohol is permitted on the course.
